Research Manager

Salary: £32,000 to £41,000 per annum, depending on experience and location

Location: Leicester / London / flexible. Hybrid working: home-based 2-3 days per week, and the remainder in an L&W office

Contract: Full-time role / flexibility or part-time considered

Learning and Work Institute is an independent research, development and policy organisation dedicated to promoting lifelong learning, full employment and inclusion.

We’re looking to recruit a Research Manager to join our growing team, delivering high quality, high impact projects on learning, skills and employment. You will have responsibility for leading research, evaluation and development projects; generating high-quality evidence and knowledge; managing budgets and resources; working effectively with team members, partners, funders and other stakeholders; and ensuring that our work makes an impact on policy and practice.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring strong knowledge and experience of a range of research and evaluation methods, a track record of delivering large and complex projects, and an interest in employment and skills policy. Experience of designing and delivering evaluation projects would be a particular advantage.
