Learning and Work Institute announces new appointment to senior team

Learning and Work Institute today announced the appointment of Naomi Phillips as Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy and Research.

Naomi will play a leading role in L&W’s research and development work. She joins from the British Red Cross, where she was Director of Policy and Advocacy.

Stephen Evans, chief executive of Learning and Work Institute, said:
I’m delighted to welcome Naomi to Learning and Work Institute as Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy and Research. Her perspective, experience and expertise will further strengthen our work on widening access to learning, skills and employment.

I’m thrilled to join Learning and Work Institute, which has such a strong reputation for excellence in research, development and policy. Having been part of the national response to Covid-19 at the British Red Cross, I’m now looking forward to working on issues central to renewal and recovery - including employment, skills and social inclusion – as part of L&W’s senior leadership team.

Naomi is starting her new role from 31st January 2022.
