Learning and Work Institute today announced the appointment of Dr Helen Gray as Chief Economist.

Helen will play a leading role in L&W’s economic analysis work, focussing on labour market economics, evidence and evaluation. She joins from the Institute for Employment Studies, where she was Principal Research Economist.

Stephen Evans, chief executive of Learning and Work Institute, said:
I’m delighted to be welcoming Helen to Learning and Work Institute as our new Chief Economist. She will bring a wealth of expertise and experience, particularly in labour market economics, evidence and evaluation. I’m looking forward to the exciting array of work ahead as we continue our important work to widen opportunities to learn and to access good work.

Helen is starting her new role from 25th July 2022.
