Learning and Work Institute (L&W) is a member of Health Equals, a coalition made up of 27 member organisations including charities, think tanks and industry organisations.

Together, we are campaigning for action to create a society where each of us has our best chance of good health, no matter who we are or where we are born, work and live.

Health Equals commissioned L&W to work towards policy change in the focus area of employment, income and health. This includes three research papers which summarise the evidence and make policy recommendations on three key areas:

how best to support disabled people and those with health conditions to find sustainable employment
how local government can work with employers to support their residents to have healthier working lives
considerations for employers and individuals for healthy home and hybrid working
