Supporting young adult carers in the workplace: A guide for employers

Download

This guide aims to help employers provide support for young adult carers to gain and stay in work. It includes practical information, resources and case studies which demonstrate the types of support employers can offer to young adult carers.

This guide was developed by the Learning and Work Institute. which is leading the way in raising awareness of the challenges faced by young adult carers, aged 16-24, in accessing learning and work. We’re working with learning providers, employers and carers services to support this group of young people to make the most of their opportunities and achieve their potential.
