Never stop learning

Adult Learners’ Week is an annual campaign that inspires adults to take a step back into learning to improve their confidence and wellbeing, switch careers and progress in work, discover new hobbies and connect with other people or to seek advice and guidance on the existing pathways available to them.

This is achieved by collaborating with our campaign partners across the sector on the promotion of online, live, and in-person events, courses, taster sessions, open days, resources and careers advice and guidance.

Coordinated activity is signposted through our Adult Learners’ Week website and the Working Wales website throughout September with a focus on special events taking place during the campaign week.

Join our network of partners

Together we can create increased visibility and momentum for lifelong learning in Wales and inspire more adults to move forward to lead better and more fulfilling lives with confidence. We want to work with you to promote your provision and engage with new and existing audiences by offering opportunities to learn and better signposting to information and guidance.

How to get involved

  • Host an event or course: Deliver online or in-person learning opportunities for adults throughout September – register your activities to the Adult Learners’ Week campaign website.
  • Promote your provision: Share information on the existing or upcoming opportunities and pathways available for adults to re-train and upskill.
  • Highlight your work: Share your research, write an article, or test new ideas to raise the profile of adult learning in Wales.
  • Celebrate learners: Share stories of adult learners and their successes.
  • Join the conversation on social media: Be part of the national celebration and conversation around lifelong learning. Tag us in all your activities online use the hashtag #neverstoplearning #adultlearnersweek – we are on XLinkedInFacebook and Instagram.
