Learning and Work Institute is a member of Health Equals, a coalition made up of 27 member organisations including charities, think tanks and industry organisations.

Together, we are campaigning for action to create a society where each of us has our best chance of good health, no matter who we are or where we are born, work and live.

Health Equals commissioned L&W to work towards policy change in the focus area of employment, income and health. This includes three research papers which summarise the evidence and make policy recommendations on three key areas:

  • How best to support disabled people and those with health conditions to find sustainable employment
  • How local government can work with employers to support their residents to have healthier working lives
  • Considerations for employers and individuals for healthy home and hybrid working
