Emily Andrews

Director of Policy and Research

Dr Emily Andrews is Director of Policy and Research at L&W. She leads the policy and research team – helping chart the course towards a society where learning and work enable all of us to reach our potential. She was previously Deputy Director for Work at the Centre for Ageing Better, where she spent six years working with employers, policy-makers and individuals to create fair access to work for all of us in our 50s, 60s and beyond. Prior to Ageing Better, she led work on public service performance and digital government at the Institute for Government, and she started her career as a teacher. She’s currently a trustee of intergenerational arts charity Magic Me, and a Coram Beanstalk reader.
