Learning and Work Institute research found that there were gaps in evidence of the impact of family learning in prisons. To help address this we developed a guide. 

It consists of an evaluation toolkit and description of how it can be used to evidence the impact of family learning programmes, allowing providers and governors in individual prisons to compare different programmes and understand what works – and what does not.
