Employment and Skills Convention 2025

The path to productive, inclusive and sustainable growth

Tuesday 1 July 2025 | Leonardo Royal London St. Paul’s in London

Better work and a higher ambition for skills are keystones of the UK’s growth agenda.

One year into the new government, we brought together politicians, policy makers, practitioners and employers to take stock and ask: how can we deliver an 80% employment rate? How can we ensure more people benefit from employment support? How can local leaders help to join up work, health and skills support? What’s the way forward for healthier working lives across the country? And how can we ensure our path to growth is productive, inclusive and sustainable?

This major annual event for the employment and skills sectors brings together delegates from across central and local government, employers, providers, housing associations and third sector organisations to tackle key issues in policy and practice.

With thanks for our sponsors, Maximus, Youth Futures Foundation, Serco, Clarion Futures, Edge Foundation, PeoplePlus and Shaw Trust, we enjoyed a range of panels and workshops, sparking ideas and driving change together.
